We ask about access when quoting so we can bring the right crew size and plan how heavy items will come down safely. Townhouse complexes can have tight internal driveways and visitor parking only, while apartment blocks may need lift and loading bookings. Let us know your complex's rules and we'll plan around them. Our modern trucks have ramps and hydraulic lifts for easier loading where there's no dock.
Close to our Stafford depot
Windsor is a short trip from our Stafford depot, the closest of our depots on this side of the river, which keeps travel to your pickup short. We move people between Windsor and neighbouring Wilston, Newmarket, Albion, Grange, Lutwyche and Wooloowin, using Lutwyche Road and Newmarket Road.
Moving tips for Windsor
- Heritage homes need extra care. Windsor has many heritage-listed and character homes, often with original timber floors, leadlight doors and narrow hallways. We protect floors and doorways, and carry heavy pieces with enough hands.
- Lutwyche Road is busy. If you live on it or just off it, tell us about parking and loading rules so we can find a safe spot for the truck.
- Elevated streets give Windsor its views, but they also mean sloping blocks and stairs. Mention these when you quote.
- Near Enoggera Creek? Some homes have narrow side access or gardens between the street and the door. We'll plan the carry route ahead of time.
